I heard an interview with this band on the local npr station yesterday. I thought others might enjoy their approach to building and music.

As Tony the Tiger once said, They're GREAT! And I really like their tip jar. Very appropriate.

If you can watch them and not smile from ear to ear, you might as well just pull the dirt in over yourself now.
Watching their videos reminded me of a vacation trip about 15 years ago to Victoria, BC. There were 6 or 7 mirimba bands scattered all over the harbor area. Each band's marimbas had been made out of 2 x 4's and PVC pipe, and all the bands drew big crouds that couldn't seem to resist breaking into dancing along with the music. Made for some great times for everyone.
When we got back home, I made a couple for our son and the neighborhood kids, and they had a great time with them. Come to think of it, those were my first musical instruments.

Very cool, but this is not a "High School Band," it is a band of high schoolers.

As a band teacher, I thought it was a "High School Band" who are particularly adept in their interpretation of Oldies! This is even better! We don't need any more pep-band versions of "Wipe Out" and "Eye of the Tiger."
