Englemann/Indian Rosewood. Walnut, Purple Heart neck.
I posted a pic of the bracing in the thread about my last guitar because it was basically the same, but now I cant find that photo.
Strings have been on for about two hours. Loud and brash. But it will warm up.
Still need to put tru oil finish over the shellac I smeared around last night.
This is my first extensive use of hide glue. I used titebond to glue the kerfs because I couldnt figure out how to get them all clamped before the glue cooled. And the inlay is CA'ed in.

I finally figured out how to bend so I wont need to fuss with this complicated inside corner joint which I use so I dont have to show off my wood charring skills.
I really love the look of these floating bridges, partly because I don't have to get too drama-ed up about everything staying on center, but I'm not getting a sound I like, I'm gonna turn this loose on a hot-club player for a few weeks and see if he digs it, maybe I just don't know how a guitar is supposed to sound.
There are not too many things I find offensive about this project, as long as the truss rod I made hodls up (I made the adjustment screw with bronze rod, drilled out and tapped).

More pictures of the neck and roset/top inlays please. Love the looks of the bridge and the overall portions.

Erick,

MUCH nicer! It's looks clean and well put together.

Btw, you should really try hot hide glue if you get the chance.
It's so good, it's almost like a religious conversion.
You can use a cheap crock pot for the glue pot.

Matthew,
Thank you.
This guitar is entirely assembled using hide glue, except for the kerfs (titebond), and the inlay is adheized with CA.
