Proper Intro

Hi, I'm Ken Nagy. I just retired last year, I was a machinist. I've made about a dozen violins and violas, and an acoustic archtop with nylon strings, and a Strad shaped 10 string in G that I need to get the frets strings set up on. I like doing different things. Like my violins, the arching for the archtop came from the inside arching.
I do things differently too.
I'm starting a small 1829 Staufer guitar, because I have a 6 foot.board of quartered Padauk that is just side enough for it. I can get two guitars and a viola out of it. The adjustable neck won't be a.proplem, and the elevated neck make it easier, but the fancy tuners will be a.challenge.
I write a.devotional blog, but talking on forums is my only real interaction with people. Pathetic, isn't it? But I don't mind. I'm having a great time!
