conversion varnish

Has anyone used conversion varnish for finishing acoustic guitars? I've used it for many years with good results on solid body electrics. I'm wondering about acoustic properties compared to polyurethane, nitro, shellac. Thanks

Sorry. I posted the first thread before I realized there was a 'Glues and Finishes" section.
I have used Sherwin Williams conversion varnish for about 30 years.
