Anyone have a favorite place to get good gig bags, cases and straps, that isn't Musician's friend, Guitar Center etc?

I am a repeat customer of Glen Cronkhite, his soft cases are very impressive pieces of gear.

Kurt, Elderly is a pretty good place for things like that, and it's so close to us that shipping isn't a big deal. they have some good sales.

I like buying from Phat (sp) Dog at Subway guitars.

If you can get around his inefficient way of doing things, you can buy a very good, multi-ply Guardian case well below market price. His gigbags are also amazing for the price. Of course, his prices fluctuate depending on if he likes you.

His cases are my current favorites.

I'll second the Grenn Conkhite recommendation. His custom cases are immaculate and his personal service is most welcome in this day and age.

You might take a look at Vinyard Guitars. They have most standard sizes in fairly sturdy construction.

I'll second the vote for Elderly. They carry nice Canadian made guitar cases that are well made and not expensive. They have good prices and what seems to me a pretty good selection of tuning machines.They also have the best prices for Labella strings that I have found, and yes they often have sales.
