Hi all. Just wondering, what is your preference/suggestion for capacitor size for a passive bass (diMarzio ultra jazz pickups, vol/vol/tone (500/500/250k) pots).
Thanks!

Start with .022, .033, .047, .068mFd and see. Of course the amp's input circuit and the cable capacitance will affect your results.

I'm a bit more monolithic. I like .02mfd for guitar and .05mfd for bass (passive pick ups). The tolerance for these parts is such that anything near those values works (for me). If you start to lose the high string with the tone control all the way off, then reduce the value of the cap.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Due to time constraints, I was hoping for a cut and dried, one best option answer. I ultimately tried a .022, .047 and .1. After switching back and forth several times, I believe it was the .022 I ended up using. Thanks again for your input.
