Endurovar repair

Anyone have experience with repair on an Endurovar finished instrument. I have a guitar in the shop that was finished new with Endurovar six months ago. There are some serious dents in the top but they do not appear to have broken through the finish or exposed unfinished wood. I'm thinking fill them in with more Endurovar and then a a full coat on the top to polish out. I assume EV will stick to old EV if sanded well. I'm wondering how well new finish will stick to the low spots in the dents I can't sand well. Also a bit concerned about color in the deeper dents, EV is not water clear. Anyone ever try drop filling EV with nitro for clarity?

Or maybe drop fill with General Finishes High Performance Gloss and polish out? General's website says HP is water clear.

If you drop fill with WB finish, I'd wonder if the new finish would leave witness lines around the dents. If you do this, let us know how it turns out.

I ordered a pint of General's High Performance. They say it is water clear. It is also softer, to the point that some people say in reviews that it is not suitable for a guitar finish. For polyurethane repairs at the boatyard, however, we use a softer polyurethane which makes for easier polishing out and better blends. I'm fully prepared to strip the finish off the top all together if need be, so I figure this is worth a shot.

I am in southern Maryland and use enduro-var. It drop fills pretty well. give it time to shrink back and you can get a good repair after buffing.

I've done some drop fills with Endurovar on my fir floors and the amber color builds up pretty quick to make a dark patch.
