Hi Cato. Are you willing/able to fabricate the new one yourself? If so, look for pickguard stock at stewmac.com or any other place that sells guitar repair materials. Google search for videos on how to make a new truss rod cover. The shape of this one is tricky, but take your time. If you buy a sheet of pickguard material you'll have enough to experiment first and make a few mistakes. Carefully trace the old one onto your new material and then cut/file/sand it out to match. If the sides are beveled, you can do that with a small router bit if your skills and available tools are up to the task. If not, just take it slow and steady by hand. Make sure your new mounting holes are aligned just right, and you'll be in business. If you don't have the original to trace, use those photos, the existing hole locations, and a copy machine to make a pattern.
Whose signature is that?

That explains the PS then, and I think that also means that coverplate is mirrored. That makes this even more fun. Maybe consider swapping out to an all black cover if you're not too concerned about keeping it "original"?

Ha! Turns out that guitarfetish and a bunch of other places sell mirrored acrylic pickguard stock. Who knew?
