2P-10 As Filler

OK. I was cruising around on YouTube, and found a video of a luthier using 2P-10 as a grain filler.
Has anyone here used it?
Does it work well?
How hard is it to sand after it dries?

All the usual questions.

never heard of the stuff - but it looks like "2P-10" is a brand name like "Gorilla" and they have a bunch of different CA products (probabaly cheap generics that are re-labeled).
CA used for grain filling is an old trick.
I've done it. It's a bit of a pain - smells horrible.

odor and eye irritation using CA for pore filling can be pretty well prevented by having a fan blowing across your work surface, taking the fumes away from your face.

CA works, the question is why? Epoxy works well, Shellac and pumice for purists. Lots of less troublesome options.
