New American Lutherie article

Post by Steve Denvir »

Just a heads up that I've got a new article in the latest issue of American Lutherie from the Guild of American Luthiers.

Actually, "article" is probably taking too much credit. I had the great pleasure of interviewing four of Jean Larrivee's former apprentices, and basically strung their stories together.

Linda Manzer, Grit Laskin, Sergei de Jonge, and David Wren.

They provided a pretty interesting picture of independent guitar making in the early 70's.

Have a look and lemme know what you think.
