Recently I tuned my first ukulele to CGDA(or should I call it che-ole?) and this is the first song I've practiced.

That is a nice tone you get. How thick is the top?

When I used to play bass for a orchestra, I played the prelude every morning when I woke up. Great way to start the day. It sounds very pleasant on the Uke too!

Thanks all for your kind words! Hardwood like Acacia opens up slower than regular guitar top woods. I built this one when I have not examined any ukulele.
Michael, I knew 2mm is thick enough for a smaller softwood classical, so I made this local Acacia uke top at around 1.7-1.8mm thick. I later found out it's more or less what KoAloha or Kanile'a do on their concerts.
Samuel, I love this prelude so much and playing it before going to bed always calms me. Have just memorized the allemande and I am working on the rest.

Pretty instrument an cute model. I guess she's using extra light strings.
Nice performance too.
