Double Groove strap button

Hope this is the right place to post this.
I asked the Internet for Info. on who sells strap buttons that also hold the Tail piece for Archtops, but I came up dry.
I previously bought them from Stew Mac but are now discontinued.
Does any else use them, or have another solution ?

Hi, Robert,
I think you must be asking about a tail pin or button with two grooves--one for the tail piece loop and one for the strap. Is that correct? I am not sure I can provide a source. But it seems to me you have some options. If you have not already drilled the hole for your tail pin, you could size your hole so the pin doesn't seat all the way to the rim--leaving yourself a bit of the tapered shaft standing out proud of the guitar sides. Loop your tailpiece gut around that and your strap should work with the single groove provided in most pins. Or, if you have a lathe, you could turn your own. Or, if you have a drill press, you could use it like a lathe to fashion your own pin. Or...... you could use an end-pin jack like I did. Just don't screw it all the way in. Leave room for your tailpiece gut around the last 1/8th-inch or so of the threads. I sure hope that made sense.

Some set ups rely on electrical ground between the jack and the tailpiece. If you are using a cable (Sacconi style) you need to bare the cable where it contacts the threads of the jack. This is only needed if you have a ground connection from the strings through the tailpiece, and then to the jack. The regular button (cap) is then threaded onto the jack to hold the strap.
