What glue bonds best to Titebond?

Anyone up early this morning? What glue bonds best to Titebond I? That is a joint previously glued with Titebond.

No glue bonds to Titebond, even Titebond. The joint should be resurfaced to remove all glue residue and then rejoined. An alternative is to clean the joint with damp, warm rags which will remove glue if you wipe long enough.

Depending on your situation, if the joint can be heated, the glue softens, then you can close the joint, and the glue night "grab" sufficiently for your purposes, and hold when allowed to cool.

You can remove Titebond and similar glues with acetic acid. I don't know how well new glue would stick to the surface, though.

I discovered that acetone cleans up titebond quite handily.

Yup. I wouldn't say it worked a whole lot better than warm water but it did work well enough.
