I have this old Harmony and don't want to pull the neck or fret board off to answer my question . Does anyone know if that had a mortised neck or a dovetail neck or a Flat to body fit ? It has a very slight crack at the heel between the body and heel . I would like to inject some glue in there and use a screw through the neck block inside to reinforce it .
Thanks in advance for any info .

They have a dovetail, just like a Martin does. If it is cracked there, it's probably broken all the way through and the right way to fix it is to pull the neck, repair and put it back together.

Thank you I figured it was . There is no give in the neck at all when I try and move it , it seems quite stable , it just appears to have open slightly , and by that I mean 20-30 thousands of an inch I can remove and reset it was just hoping not to have to.

Most of them need a reset anyway- make sure that the neck angle will be right if you fix it in place, or you'll just be making things harder for yourself. These guitars make great guitars if you bother to re-brace them inside with proper bracing.
