Wipe on poly for black limba abd mahogany bodies?
Is wipe on poly a good finish for blk limba and mahogany bodies I have?

I have no personal experience with wipe on poly, but if it's like most finishes, it can be as good as you make it.
Good finishes can be quick, cheap, or easy, but you only get to choose one of those!

If your wood is very soft and you are hoping to harden the surface a bit then I'm not sure a wipe on poly would be the first choice but it might be just fine. I haven't tried any of them in decades so they might be better now.
