Just strung up my 11th (official serial #, that is - I built two without #'s), and though it still needs finish work and a other things (a little string buzz, etc), I thought I'd post a video link so y'all can hear it as well as seeing a few images. Walnut sides, neck and back stripe; curly cherry back (wings), Englemann spruce top.

Very nice!..... I watched the video clip and I really like the sound, I've just finished my first archtop, it's posted a few below this post, I built it mainly for the challenge of making one as I'm not a huge fan of the typical jazz guitar sound (which mine sounds like). Excellent work and keep rockin'!

The sound reminds me to some clips of vintage german archtops not trung with flatwounds.
Strings would make a large part of the difference to the traditonal sound, wouldn't they?
BTW: beautiful instrument!
