Strat pickup query

This is my question for the hardcore stratocaster fanatics out there on the forum on behalf of my son.


' I have a MIM classic series 60's strat and wanted to know what the pickups were modeled on. On the official site it just says their Fender Vintage style pickups, does this mean their the 57/62 pup's?.

Also what tone pots are used on the original 60's strats, how do they compare to the pots of the MIM classic series?'
