I just wanted to introduce myself so I'll give you a brief background. I'm 62 and recently retired from mainstream employment so I hope to be building more guitars.
I started building in 2001 and my first dreadnought was completed using only Cumpiano's book. I still have it although my 05 move to Arizona from California wreaked havoc on the top. (I learned my lesson about humidifiers)
In the last 12 years I have only built 10 guitars. Some acoustic and some electric. I even tried my hand at a carved archtop which I still enjoy playing.
I hope to learn much here and if there are any arizona luthiers drop me a line.
