MIMF

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what size fretwire to use on a long scale Irish bouzouki? I'm torn between regular medium acoustic guitar wire and mandolin/banjo/vintage guitar size.

I use regular medium guitar fretwire on all of mine.

For what it's worth (since I only built one bouzouki and don't know how to play it) I too used medium guitar fretwire, Stewmac 148 http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Fretting_su ... twire.html . It seems to work just fine.
