gluing fiber for bindings

I glued some bwb fiber strips to some maple to use as binding. When Itried to bend the binding what I suspected would happen did happen. The heat released the glue and the bwb fiber strips delaminated. I used regular Titebond. What glue should I use so the heat from the bending iron won't release it?

Hot hide glue will hold under the heat of a bending iron.
The Aliphatic resin glues (white or yellow glue) will release, but will grab again when it is cold. You can try either one, just realize what to expect and plan for it.

Titebond III has also worked for me, including 1-1/2" radius bends at the cutaway.
