At first glance thought it was a BulBul Tarang, but it sounds like a keyed hammered dulcimer. I'd guess Northern European. Spent the last hour scouring Google images to no avail.
Can anyone identify this instrument?

It appears to be something called a Hammerchord, invented by Bob Cunnhingham of Georgia in 2003. Here is his patent.

Another Marxophone-like gizmo. I thought it might be a Dolceola [ http://www.minermusic.com/dolceola/dolceola.htm ] but am not sure. The fretlesszither.com site does not show anything exactly like it, either- unless I mistake the category..
