Name of luthier who did very realistic marquetry ?

Quite a few years ago I remember someone posting about a builder who's realistic marquetry on his guitars was just amazing.
He did a guitar back where the marquetry made it appear that the back had a zipper that was partly unzipped, showing the inside of the guitar, but it all was marquetry inlaid into the back.
Can anyone come up with his name? I tried google images, etc. and can't come up with anything that is remotely connected to the guy I'm remembering, and it's driving me nuts.
