Hi, I'm selling my Ervin Somogyi's Lutherie books.
This is the two volumes boxed set composed of the following books: "The Responsive Guitar" and "Making The Responsive Guitar" in a protective slipcase. Both books are hardcover.
Those two books are by far THE BEST technical/instructional books I ever read. Period.
The amount of information is unbelievable and most of what you will find in those books won't be find in any other book or forum. They contain years and years of experience of one of the most talented luthier today.
I hesitated a long time before buying those books because of the price but after reading them I realized they were priceless.
The first book "The Responsive Guitar" is about physics, dynamics, acoustics and construction of the guitar. It's about the mechanics of tone, what materials to build with, when to add or remove wood for maximum benefit, and why those techniques work.
The second book "Making the Responsive Guitar" is about how to build a guitar, from the very first step to the last.
