Happy Birthday to us!
Happy Birthday to the MIMF- 15 years!! The forum was opened on July 5th, 1997 by Deb Suran and Nick von Robison. A big thanks to Deb (especially!) and Nick and all of our members and volunteers and sponsors, past and present, who have made the forum what it is today.

The MIMF library is back!!
A big birthday present from Deb: the old MIMF library is back (for registered members)! Look for the forum named “MIMF Library!”. We’re still working on the new archives, hopefully they will be ready soon.

The next auction
I’m planning a “birthday bash” auction for the early fall, I’ve got a couple donations already but if you have something you’re willing to donate, please drop me a PM. Thanks!

Plans
I’ve got the plan files, I just need to find a place to reliably and accurately plot them. I will announce when they are available for sale. Please note that we do *not* own the files, and we may *not* distribute them as files. The plans are owned and copyrighted by the authors, and we only have permission to distribute them on paper.

Projects

The MIMF archtop is progressing well, the neck is being attached and binding installed- check out the discussion here: http://www.mimf.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=540. Thanks to Michael Lewis for heading up this project.

The "cake" is in the JAM SESSION section, Deb was kind enough to leave the recipe, if you don't mind CHOCOLATE! It's more of sweet finger food than cake but so what.
