Update. Kiddo is almost 4 months old.

I'm actually way more productive after having the kid, because it forces me to keep my crap together.
I can get maybe a few minutes a week, with maybe a few hours on a weekend.

That being said, my son's smile in the morning (usually with a poopy diaper) warms my cold dry heart.

Update. Kiddo is 6 months old!

He started crawling! He also seems to really like music, so I plan to build him (and some church buddies' kids) some toys (like a small hand drum).
My wife is also keep on getting me back to building, I'll be building her a guitar.

Anyways, I'm thinking of documenting how I'll be building instruments with a young kiddo.
Been trying to think of how to idiotproof different procedures, with minimal equipment and mess and space and time, and have something playable.

Been also mired up with a sewage problem the last 6 weeks.
My neighbors decided to destroy the sewer lateral of the old house.
The old house is unlivable and a septic biohazard now.
I tried settling with them to save money and headaches for both parties, but am now forced to go to court on Friday.

It's put my garage/woodworking on a stand still (for good reason)

What a nightmare about the sewer. What were your neighbors tryin to do in the first place.

My neighbors believed that my 100 year old pipe "tresspassed" onto their property.

They dug it up. Capped it. Filled it with concrete to "protect their own."

It was pretty stupid.

Unbelievable! I don’t know the laws in your state but in my home state of Oklahoma, if your fence or anything else has been encroaching on the neighbors property, and has been there for over seven year then there is no issue and it must be left alone.

I am pretty sure Matthew is overseas, so none of our laws apply.

I'm in Alameda, California.

You're welcome to come over for gelato when the rains clear.

My neighbors are just very stupid and shortsighted.
