They weigh the same as a set of ebony pegs. Are you sure you have the right ones....ie. "stealth"

I used Grover Uke tuners on mine, 18:1 ratio, very light weight, about $10 a set, and have nice unobtrusive black buttons.
Lap steels, banjos, and mando family instruments for the world!
