That's very nice of you Jason. I'd like to hang out here more often, but I just can't find the time these days. And its not like I've given up on MIMF and went over to another board - I'm just not hanging out reading posts these days.

Jeez Chuck, what's your Google page do for us? It's not always about you <G>, it's about US US US !(Nice page by the way).
Are they less strict about spraying shellac?

This is something that has been bumping along, made from the basement flood debris, and intended for very portable use at summer art & music festivals. The body & neck are cherry, the top is the very finest offcut from a Homedepot SPF 2x4 (spruce, as in Spruce/Pine/Fir), the fingerboard and bindings are bloodwood, and the trussrod is a 3/16 hardware square stock. A 20" baritone uke scale w/ 4 strings, X-bracing, and it will likely need a violin-type soundpost, and maybe the cheapest cigarbox-piezo pickup.

It's meant to be fun and sturdy for camping.

Shoot I am already in with that cause I got my soundboard braced way different (no secrets out yet)

Why do you think it needs a soundpost? That will kill the tone for sure.
