Followup on the fingerboard. 5 coats of alternating satin finish polyurethane (because that's what I had on the shelf) and sanding, then buffing with No.7 auto polishing compound gave a nice almost transparent finish. Time will tell regarding the durability. I've strung it with flatwound strings for the time being.

That looks great. I think most polyurethane takes about a month to fully harden up.
