Alnico types and sound differences - a Physics expliantion?

Imagine a theoretical pickup with all things being equal but with interchangeable magnets. Different magnet types in this pickup will yield different sounds. Besides the maximum level of charge attainable by the different grades, is there more of an explanation of WHY they sound different out there? TIA
