Tumbling block/rhombille tiled solid body
Finally got this guitar done. All leftovers - used up as many as I could (wood, hardware, electrics, finish) but still have lots left over . Maybe I'll make a matching bass. It was interesting, but my energy levels are flagging - maybe better when the hot weather is over.

Quite an optical display! The electronics look like they're floating on the top. Nice work.

That’s a knockout. I can imagine the reaction from an audience would be enthusiastic.

Re: Tumbling block/rhombille tiled solid body
Finished a couple more of these. It gives me something to do in my hermitage during these trying times, using up my wood and hardware on hand.
5 string bass - same construction as the first guitar. Fret board is my last piece of osage orange, neck is walnut and alder, headstock veneer kelobra.
Guitar - I was running out of walnut, so I sandwiched alder between two thiner glue ups. I put in a 2-way truss rod but had to install it upside down to make it fit, so it moves the neck in reverse - righty loosy and lefty tighty.
