Pearl Powder for Waterbased finish
I am looking for some "pearl" powder to add to a clear poly coat over a solid color. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Check out mica powders at craft stores or amazon. Lots of colors available. I've gotten it (in a gold sparkle) at a bead/jewelry making store. I Mixed it in clear epoxy and used it like inlay. Try it on scrap to see if it will do what you want.

Glad it worked for you.
How about a pic of the finish? I don't use solid color finishes, but would be interested to see what it looked like.
What powder and what was mix in the clear finish?

Re: Pearl Powder for Waterbased finish
I just did some sample pieces for the customers approval so I will post when I get it done. The customer wanted Pearl White so I laid down a coat straight white and got white mica powder to mix in with the next coat of clear. A little powder goes a long way and to much sort of defeats the effect oddly enough. Pics to come
