"Search user's posts" not working for me

When I click on a poster's name (including my own) and get the 3 choices on the profile page, "Search user's posts" gets an error message. Is this just me or is it happening to everyone? It's been going on for a long time now.

I just use the search button at the top of the page. It works for me. It takes you to a page where you can search for topics or authors.

Sorry, I can't figure it out. Just clicking the button goes to posts with the word "search" in them. If I type in a member's name it just shows posts where that person is mentioned, not his posts. Please give me explicit instructions on how to do this.

Several people have reported this problem but I have not figured it out yet. Will update you when I know more.

Try using google or another search engine of your choice and type in 'site:https://www.mimf.com/phpbb/' followed by your search term.

My old bookmarked link to this forum doesn't work any more and it was difficult getting back on - I guess the forum software has changed. I created a new link with the same url and it works. Access to things like active topics and new posts don't seem to be there, but the good news is that "search user's posts" now works.

The software that runs the forum was updated a few days ago after it hadn't been updated in a while. The active topics are still showing up color coded for me, but the old icons have disappeared and the color change is subtle. I have heard the old icons and style may come back as the update progresses. I don't why the URL might have changed, though. They just updated the underlying software.

Looking more closely at the bookmarked url's, my old one (which worked prior to the recent software update) was https://www.mimf.com//phpbb/ with 2 slashes, whereas the new one is https://www.mimf.com/phpbb/ with one slash. Go figure.

Weird. . . I just tried searching your posts from the profile and it seemed to work for me.
I did not scroll very far so it may just be the most recent ones showing.

My original post was before the forum update - yes, the search user's posts works now. Also, I found the "quick links" button in the upper left corner of any page that shows new posts, active topics, etc - much more convenient than the old format.
