I am cleaning my garage out and found a box of running pegs, a tuning lever, and four rolls of music wire (sizes 7 to 10).

Whew! I was having a "get-thee-behind-me-Satan" moment for the last 32 hours.
I've always thought that hammer dulcimers are one of the coolest instruments. They're on my list of blue-sky "maybe I'll try one of those someday" builds, along with a Chapman Stick.
