Absolutely, but make that "hides or recovers from". Hiding is perfectly ok in some cases, but will bite you inna butt in others. No choice then but to find a way to effectively correct.Daryl Kosinski wrote:The mark of a good craftsman is how well he/she hides their mistakes.

Re: Mistakes...
Keep a list going while building.
The list should keep you from jumping ahead.
Think through everything about making the guitar and write it down...cross off what's been done...but write when you've forgotten something. On the next guitar read previous lists...then write the new one. Think about what's different about the current guitar and get that down in the best order that you can.
The list will keep you from trying to hold everything in your head. Then you can work just on what is in front of you.
The list should be brief and clear. When you've made a mistake, write it down for the next list.
The mistakes will disappear. New ones will show up but hopefully will not be repeated by using the list.

I dared to extend the haiku. What Do You think?
Start of every build
Mistakes
hover overhead
Waiting to descend.
Never will come ...
sophistication.
Workaround experience
Might increase
Mistakes
On a higher level
