The next giveaway for (legitimately) registered MIMF members: a copy of the Guild of American Luthier's Big Red Book, volume 7 (donated by anonymous).
Here's how it works:
- If you're interested, reply to this discussion by 9 PM US CDT on May 31- I'll assign a number to everyone that responds (duplicate entries and bogus user names will be ignored)
- Previous 20th Birthday give-away winners not eligible
- On or shortly after June 1st, we'll use an on-line random number generator to pick the winner.

I'm in. The article on Savart type larger instruments addresses something I've wondered about for a long time. Is it possible to make a playable instrument that way? If I win, I'll find out.
