Thanks,

Stwemac sells a Golden Age replica that is quite exact, except for the size of the buttons. I have a 1935 dobro with those tuners - I am curious if you could measure the size of the buttons on yours? Mine are .5" by .610", while the replicas are .56" by .7".

Re: Early '30s Dobro tuners
I quite literally just came up from the shop where I just re-buttoned the very similar Kluson tuners from a 30's Regal resonator. The only difference is the gears and posts were force fitted into place much like a rivet is rather than screwed into place.
I'm keeping these tuners on the guitar, but Steve Koviak does have a set of the very tuners you are looking for on his site. Set # 121. Don't know the price, though.
