Whammybar for a vintage Teisco/Kawai

Hi!

(For everyones information; I'm new to this forum, and my English might not always be that good)

I just got a hold of an old Kawai - appearantly from the 60's, and I'm trying to bring it back to life!

At the moment I am experiencing problems with the electronics, whereas I almost cannot connect the guitar to an amp before it starts to squeal and feed. I will try to get this sorted out by just delivering the guitar to the local musicshop, and have them take a look at it.
Other than this - I am trying really hard to get a hold of an original whammybar for this guitar, and as far as I've seen it is supposed to be this one: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTU1OVgxNjAw/ ... Q/$_58.JPG

Does anyone at all have any idea of where I can get a hold of this kind of whammybar relatively quickly?

Hi. That is certainly a unique guitar and an uncommon whammy-bar! The guitar looks very nice and I hope it works out.
To find a whammy-bar like that you might want to try a local custom shop where you can design your own. A website you might try is http://www.rtoguitars.com.

Look up this Fender Part number: Fender Jazzmaster Trem Assembly 0076232000 . Replacing the bridge may seem extreme but it would allow you to use a standard threaded arm.
