Re: maple reso with quilted top
This one has a little story behind it, I originally built this Reso for a lady in PA, she kept it in her living room but sadly enough she lived by the Susquehanna river and she was away for a weekend and unfortunately the river flooded and soaked the reso in her living room floor. she sent it back to me for repair, sorry to say, I could not repair the cracks in the top to where they wouldn't be noticed. She asked me to try to sell it for her, so eventually another client of mine purchased it and commissioned me to replace the top with this quilted maple purchased from Larry Davis, I think it turned out absolutely stunning, due to the quilted Maple top, the sides and the back are non figured Maple, stained a walnut color, also it sounds better than ever!

Are there any photos of the innards available? I'd like to see, if so.

Stunning. The maple grain really pops, and has nice amber coloring. Did you shade the top?
