Help identifying this old Classical Guitar

If you have a string instrument of any kind that needs fixing, a mistake you made in building a new instrument that you need to "disappear," or a question about the ethics of altering an older instrument, ask here. Please note that it will be much easier for us to help you decide on the best repair method if you post some pictures of the problem.

Help identifying this old Classical Guitar

Post by Norman Letendre »

This old Classical guitar came into my shop the other day. The customer asked for an estimate to repair cracked top, separation of the top and side lining, missing section of binding and several small back cracks. He wanted to know if it would be worth repairing because he wants to sell it. Does anyone know what this guitar is and/or something similar to determine relative value
Looks to be well made, European, maybe German???. Has what looks to be an adjustable neck angle adjustment key. Tuners look real old….maybe ivory keys???
I appreciate any help with this……

Also, larger sharper pictures would be a big help.
Maybe I can't fix it, but I can fix it so no one can fix it
