Introducing me and my "old" number 4

Post by Tim Braun »

I had to break up with building just over 4 years ago. A move forced my tools into storage. Just before the move, I finished my forth acoustic (and several electrics). I was on this forum previously, but I don't think that I posted it due to my relocation. I took these photos a while ago but for some reason didn't take any straight-on shots. We're currently separated as she sits in a local acoustic music shop, so this is what I have. I just thought I would introduce us both again.

She's Koa with a Sitka Spruce top and flame Maple binding. 16.25" lower bout. 4.5" deep at the tail block. 25.4" scale. Ebony FB and bridge. Grafted Coatings KTM-9 finish. I love her and she sounds great too!

Me... I'm just Tim

Very nice work Tim!
Sometimes life gets in the way of what we love doing. It's always a pleasure to get back to it.
I need your help. I can't possibly make all the mistakes myself!

Thanks guys. Yes, life has a way of throwing in some curves. Chuck - the shop is alive once again and I'm working towards my next two but other projects get in the way. It's almost as if I'm afraid to start down the guitar-building rabbit hole again... I'll get over that ;)
