Yes, the cost was about right. I have another client who shells out big cash for Alessandro pots and caps quite often to be installed into mainly Strats Teles and LPs. He's probably my #1 client for very upmarket guitars and collectables and he is one of the local old guitar personalities with great skills and soul. His main concern is taper for rolls offs. I think I've got him to believe that a pot does nothing for tone but I'm not sure. I ordered a few more of the 250K PEC pots as extras and I've asked my client to test drive these pots the next time he wants to upgrade one of his Fenders. The guy has no problem with money but I have an idea of what he is paying for these pre-wired Alessandro harnesses and its insane. On the other side, I have to admit that they're put together in the most sanitary and boutique tidy fashion I have ever seen. Very slick soldering art at its best but I can do that too now that I've seen it.
