Gibson Government Series

Post by David Bingham »

I have to give the Gibson Marketing Department credit for both having a sense of humor and making the best of a bad situation.

That's a little like Microsoft celebrating the the occupy movement. Gibson should proofread their press releases, they can't count on the corporate media doing that for them.
They should have gone with Forest Service Green instead of BLM Beige.

Whenever I (fortunately seldom) read a discussion on a site like this, I pause and thank my lucky stars for the tenor and restraint of MIMF. May Deb Suran and her "WHAP" be remembered forever. Has anyone started the canonization process for her sainthood yet?

It seems like selling guitars these days puts more emphasis on some "collect-ability" angle than on making a high quality product. I wonder when the "special" and "collector" series will exceed the production of the standard line.
