RIP Jim Hall

Post by Mark Langner »

Curiously, I had been listening a lot just recently to Jimmy Giuffre's recording of "Topsy", with Jim Hall on guitar. I heard about this two days ago from a jazz player I know here.

Yes, Rest in Peace, Jim Hall. I have been listening to his Concierto album lately and heard the news also. That album helped me through many night while a student in Ann Arbor.

I'm sorry to hear this. His recordings are very easy to listen to. Glad he was here!
