While it appears to work well on a standard IPad browser I was wondering if anyone had thought of developing mobile apps for the forum...
Ps. I also just wanted to test a post
Mobile apps?
Re: Mobile apps?
I also went and looked at the forum software after I posted. Mobile might be more appropriate for a 2nd phase. There seems to be more complexity included security issues that need to be looked at... Maybe someday.

I rather like the idea of http://www.touchbb.com/
Re: Mobile apps?
So does touchbb require configuration by the sysop or is it just a local app that reads the forum and presents in a mobile format?

Re: Mobile apps?
Admin has to add an access easing script, then the local app interacts with that as though a web browser, sort of.

Re: Mobile apps?
Tappatalk is one of the popular Mobile Apps. Just has to be turned on for the forum on the Tappatalk page. and is free for the forum. Users have to buy the app. Finds unread posts on log in. Very easy to use.

I've been browsing/posting using my Playbook tonight and it has been flawless. Not sure the value of an app when the standard site loads fine.
