Thank you all for your input....PRAY for me as I try to complete this project....I ordered wood today so, photos of body should be posted this week or early next week.

Are you not suppose to let the wood acclimate to your shop for some time before using it? Or is the lumber ready to use right away?

I was told, what ever the wood working project, the wood should be left to settle for 1 to 2 weeks in your shop. Me I am always months behind in my projects so its never been a problem.

I am going to let the wood sit and acclimate....I should have been more precise in my statement when I said Photos coming next week....I meant photos of the wood with drawing to show shape that Bass Guitar will turn out to be.
