The same recall has been posted for at least a few days in the Jam Session. Twelve brands are involved, so everyone check carefully!

Mine was on the list. These are all dehumidifiers made by Gree and sold under other names. I called Gree and they sent the return envelope in a few days. They want the plug cut off and labels removed so I did that, put them in the envelope and returned it to Gree. They say 6 to 8 weeks for the refund. Of course I had to go out and immediately buy another dehumidifier but better safe than sorry. I'm thankful I got 2 years out of the old one and no fires!
