Here's some updates on stuff I've showed off before.

The Ash top Oceana DuoTone 25.5" scale prototype has the transparent Blonde on now.

And last but not least for today, this Oceana DuoTone, which is a tribute to the customer's long gone Gretsch SilverJet is finished.

What's the news on the Ash top. Need to post some pictures if you have that one complete.

I finally got the pickups, but I still have some other hardware to get. It ought to be done within a month or so. I'm crossing my fingers that I get to keep that one for myself. Lol.

Now you are sounding like me wanting to keep everything for your self. So glad to see that guitar being built/sold, it is one of the best designs I have seen in such a long time. Great work as always! Oh, when you going to build a bass? Give us bass players some love!

Thanks so much John! The Oceana is near and dear to my heart, so you can imagine how happy I am whenever somebody wants to buy one.

No bass plans in the works yet, but I have made six short-scale six-string basses.

Is there some Saul Koll influence in your design aesthetic?

I think Paul has a picture around here somewhere of him hanging with Saul.

Absolutely! Saul is my all-time favorite guitar maker, and I'm fortunate enough to call him a friend.

Makes sense. The subtle, elegant simplicity of your work reminded me of Saul's.

Prototype of a new model. My take on a Tele, basically. I call it the Vireo.

This isn't a new model for me, but I haven't made any of these in a while. The Starblaster.

Eh, only really like one or two a month. It just looks like more when I haven't posted anything in a while, and then bomb the site.
