Dave Anderson - Omjc
I finished this one yesterday (5-30-2013) guys...strung it up,set it up and played for a few hours.I'm pretty happy with the
tone. It's an OM jumbo with cutaway- It's the 1st one I've built like this and I like the shape .. I might just make
another one like this for myself someday!
Koa - back and sides,headstock
Carpathian spruce top/red spruce braces, maple bridge pad
Solid mahogany neck w/ carbon fiber
Brw - fingerboard,bridge,bindings
EVO gold frets
K & K pickup Sorry about the tiny pics .

That's one pretty nice looking guitar. Only carbon fiber in the neck, no rod? If so, what dimensions CF, and if you've done this previously, how have those instrument's necks held up?

No,It has a 2 way truss rod Bob. I usually make a five piece neck but this customer wanted a one piece mahogany neck.

Yes, indeed! That thing is nice all over. The pickguard fits well in the scheme. Warm, golden colors throughout. Good one!Jim Bonnell wrote:Now you can see that nice looking Koa.
