Hearne Hardwoods.... Almost purchased a large board a while back, though it's tough to justify spending $1600 for a piece of wood. I try to find stuff for the cheapest price I can. I want to make the pilgrimage there too. I paid about $8/bf for each of the mahogany boards, and I almost didn't want to pay that. I bought the walnut billet a long time ago and I don't think I have $100 into it. If you're PRS, you can outbid everyone else for good stuff. I work the opposite way. The tiger stripe mahogany above... I bought a similar board a while back for the electric guitar challenge, at about $3/bf! And I had about 30bf of the stuff!
