Gorgeous guitar and obvious beautiful craftsmanship. But is it a left handed or right handed model?

Ultimately it is both right & left handed. The client wanted it that way in case he should ever have to put it up for sale. I eliminated the 20th fret extension that I usually put in and I supplied two sets of nuts/saddles. Good eye Ernest :geek:

An incredible piece of rosewood and incredible craftsmanship that makes the most of it!

I like the bridge design -- different but not distracting.

This bridge design was developed by John Gilbert, a very successful and internationally known American luthier from the 80's and 90's.

Very interesting instrument, and superb realization. What kind of thicknesses for that top would be my question. Congratulations.
I also love El Choclo. Do you know Roland Dyens (one of our leading guitar players) interpretation of that standard on You Tube?

Hi Alain,

Thanks for your kind words. The top thickness is 1.7mm. Yes I do know Roland Dyens. Our guitar society puts on 4 to 5 concerts each year and we had Roland here in 1997 for a recital and a master class. He is one of my favorite players and I will always remember the time we spent with him. He was playing an guitar by Olivier Fanton d'Andon at that time.
